Oakwood park lakes is a fantastic venue. It combines some unbelievable fishing with a warm welcome and great food. It is also a lovely looking lake and a nice place to sit whilst you wait for your alarms to scream off. Well done to the team there and i'm sure it is only going to get better. Oakwood is now firmly on my list of regular venues.

Amazing!!!...that about sums this fishery up, and thats not just the fishing, the Guys and Gals there make it all the more rewarding. Smashing 3 PB's in the first 36hrs of a 72 hr session, having full english breakfast and dinner delivered to my swim each day..I honestly couldn't have asked for anything more! Its a fantastic venue, and for what I've seen it will only improve. highly recommended!
Well Done Guys and Gals, I wish you all the success on this venture, and hopefully see you again soon! Jez

An outragous puddle of water. 100% the best lake iv fished yet in england cant see it being beaten either. Fish are amazing fighters and put up a really good scrap. Tends to quieten down during the day but from 9pm to 10am the rods dont stop bleeping. take after take. Hooking can be hard but once you do the results are worth it.Kept really well all swims that is and iv fished all swims and caught just as much from them all, its not a lake where there are better parts the hole lake fishes good from the 9ft center all the way back to the margins. dont hunt for the cats they will hunt you for sure. Guys are really friendly and helpfull and the food is brilliant, i eat better on the lake than i do at home.
